With schools being closed and the country back in lockdown, we've seen on the news that some students don't have the same access to laptops and technology to aid their learning as others do, or there simply isn't enough laptops in the household to support an entire family learning remotely.
This is an incredibly difficult period for the children that are out of school and equally as difficult for the parents that are juggling work and having to provide childcare.
There have been some brilliant initiatives whereby people have been donating laptops and other devices to support children in their learning. Which got us thinking...what can we do to support our local community?
We've decided that for the duration of the lockdown period we are making all of our digital courses FREE. Totally free. No cost at all. For students, and adults of all ages whatever your circumstances are. Whilst our courses are designed for use with a DSLR or similar camera, you can in fact use any camera or device to apply what we teach. Whether it's a phone, tablet, compact camera, bridge camera, DSLR, mirrorless or any other type of camera.
Grab a camera (any camera) and make use of your time outside on your walks and runs by learning photography. Not only will you be able to learn a new skill for free, but by getting out and being creative you will also be able to improve your mental health throughout this tough time.
Our courses cover photography for beginners and for those that are able to gain access to Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop you can enter the world of editing and learn how to get the most out of our images.
