Take a look here at the Photoshop CC interface and familiarize yourself with each section. This will be key towards becoming comfortable with where everything in Photoshop is and you'll soon find yourself jumping to each of these sections as and when you need to without even thinking about it.
Most of these labels will be the same for previous versions of Photoshop so regardless of which edition you use it's still worth a good look.
